We thought of this proposal:
In the early summer period, lots of tender, fresh wild herbs are popping up in the meadows, each with its own shape, taste and properties! Here is the perfect opportunity to get to know more about them, and also learn how to use them in the kitchen together with our chef! Also included are many other activities in the setting of the Cavallino's family hospitality and the natural beauty of Val di Non!
On Friday, May 17 free arrival at the hotel, at 4 pm easy hike along the Lavazzè stream with arrival in Mocenigo at the Agriroom farm, where Carla awaits us and offers a visit to her vegetable garden and a workshop to make the vinegar of the 4 thieves and an aromatic or bath salt with wild herbs to take home!
On return to the spa wellness hotel, dinner to taste the typical dish of Val di Non: Tortei di patate (potato pies), accompanied by typical salami, malga cheese and ciapus, and Groppello wine.
On Saturday, May 18 morning after breakfast * we will have an interesting walk in the woods with expert Amelio, who knows about wild herbs and their properties. We will pick herbs, stop in the meadows for a picnic and then return to the hotel for a cooking class with Amelio and Daniel to prepare recipes based on medicinal plants, which we will then taste at dinner. After dinner, tasting of local wines with sommelier Roberto in the cellar.
On Sunday, May 19 morning after breakfast excursion with Fabrizio to the Malghe delle Maddalene: a ring-route of about 3 hours with 350 m of altitude difference, with a stop for a typical lunch at the malga, return to the hotel in the afternoon to say goodbye.
