Wild Herb Weekend

From 17 to 19 May...

wild herbs from the forest to the plate with show cooking, tastings of typical products and lots of outdoor activities!
we came up with this proposal:
In the early summer months, lots of tender, fresh wild herbs pop up in the meadows, each with its own shape, taste and properties! Here is the perfect opportunity to get to know more about them, and also learn how to use them in the kitchen together with our chef! Also included are many other activities in the setting of the Cavallino's family hospitality and the natural beauty of Val di Non!

Friday 23rd May free arrival at the hotel,
at 4 pm LABORATORY WITH ELISA: let's prepare a bath bomb, an oleolite and a labellum with beeswax and mountain flowers!
Followed by wellness in the spa, dinner to taste the typical dish of Val di Non: Tortei di patate (potato cakes), accompanied by typical cold cuts, malga cheese and ciapus, and Groppello wine.

Saturday 24 May morning after breakfast * we will have an interesting outing in the woods with herbalist Adele, who knows about wild herbs and their properties. We will pick herbs, stop in the meadows for a picnic and then return to the hotel for a cooking class with Sandra to prepare recipes based on officinal plants, which we will then taste at dinner.
After dinner, tasting of indigenous wines in the wine cellar.

Sunday morning, 25 May, after breakfast, excursion with Fabrizio to the Malghe delle Maddalene: a ring-route of about 3 hours with a difference in altitude of 350 m, with a stop for a typical lunch at the malga (not included), return to the hotel in the afternoon to say goodbye.

*For those who are not interested in cuisine & Co, you will find the Spa to relax, or the bikes to take an off-road excursion, or the possibility to visit the canyons of Val di Non either on foot or by kayak or the other beauties of the valley on your own!
